Barbara Faught, Staff AssociateBarbara became Staff Associate at Parkdale in January 2003. Her primary attention is given to those in need of pastoral care, especially the elderly and those who are ill. A well-trained pastoral care team serves with her.The Church benefits from the fact that Barbara cannot remember a time when she was not interested in theology or in exploring issues of faith and life. This had led to a long involvement in bible studies, small groups, Christian Education, teaching and preaching. Barbara's formal eduacation includes degrees in history and theology (Bth. Mth.). She is married to Arnold and together they have 5 adult children and eight grandchildren. Barbara is delighted to have been called to ministry at Parkdale where there is good preaching, creative liturgy, a variety of bible studies and discussion groups and several kinds of community outreach. |
