Khan Chao, CustodianKhan was born in western Cambodia about 30 miles from Thailand. He made his 'escape' to the 'Promised Land' in October 1980. He lives in Ottawa with his wife and two daughters.Khan began to work at Parkdale United Church in September 1981. He is an outstanding custodian, taking a keen interest in his occupation and using his many talents to do numerous repair jobs. Khan looks for ways to be of assistance when it is required - setting up and dismantling for our two Rummages Sales (the last Saturday of April and September) and the Bazaar (the first Saturday of November). He prepares the many rooms for the many activities that take place at the church. Please look for Khan if you are visiting and have any request. |
